Laboratory of Health Economics and Management
LabHEM was founded in June 2015 in the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus. The Laboratory of Health Economics and Management specializes in the areas of Health Economics, Health Services Research, Health Care Management, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Pricing and Reimbursement. The principal scientific team consists of academics from the fields of Health Economics, Economics, Management, Strategy, Health Informatics, Pharmacy and Medicine.
Close to 100 publications, including papers in journals, books and chapter books published by our staff.
62 projects and various research activities with recognized institutions and Pharma companies.
Over 20 undergraduate and postgraduate courses annually and 5 PhD thesis supervised, since 2015.
10 awards have been received for the collective work of the laboratory, as well as for individual projects.
